Stopped in here to watch a basketball game and have some dinner. It was very busy, but all of the staff was amazing. They hustled the entire time we were there and gave amazing service. The owners should take good care of these employees, they would be hard to replace. Great food too!

If I get to Monroe, it's Whistling Post Saloon for food. Friendly staff, friendly customers. Good liquor selection. Best tartar sauce! You should have it on everything. Very decent side salad. Chicken & jojos every time; just can't break the habit.

Modern facade hides a comfy bar inside with cold beer and delicious food.

Had take out so I can't really provide a lot of information about the saloon. However, I can say the Fried chicken was awesome, if you are in the area and hungry for some fried chicken you have to stop and give it a try. Super nice people.

I do not drink however, I do order food to go occasionally. Great food, the shrimp & waffle fries are my go to (their ranch is my favorite) chicken & jo's with PLENTY of tartar for my husband. Their tarter sauce made my husband a tartar fanatic and he hopes to find one like it usually with no such luck.

Cozy small town bar and grill. Full bar. Pool tables. Outdoor seating in warmer months. Small kitchen with limited menu, but what they serve is pretty darn good and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The ambiance is that of a bar in the old west. In fact, the bar folks sit at looks like it came from the Bird Cage Theater in Tombstone Arizona circa 1881 Additionally, there are a good deal of regulars here that give an added Cheers TV show vibe to the place. The service is good and staff are friendy. The food is good considering it's a bar and the prices are status quo for the current inflated economy The only real down side is that beer selections are limited. All things considered a decent spot to come in for a cold one

This place is the best! The staff are friendly and the service is great, the food is delicious and fairly priced, the beer is ice cold and delicious, and the vibe is awesome! What more could you want?
